Guy Deyres spent nearly 40 years working in Bas Armagnac. He then passed on the craft to his son, Jean-Luc, owner of Domaine de Rieston, sharing with him both the skills and challenges of viticulture, along with his deep passion for the region. His property sits within the celebrated heartland of Grand Bas Armagnac, its sandy, tawny soils planted entirely with Baco vines. This is a cru of real distinction, and we have the pleasure of exclusive access to it. We have worked with this domaine for 50 years, in the same spirit of continuity with which Jean-Luc Deyres now manages both this property and Domaine de Rieston.
