A single parcel selection from one of the most renowned domaines in Montlouis.
The Montlouis-sur-Loire Les Hauts de Husseau 2023 from Domaine La Taille aux Loups is a Chenin Blanc of remarkable purity, an emblematic signature of the Loire. From vines planted on the high clay, limestone and flint terraces of Husseau, this wine perfectly reflects the chiselled minerality and natural tension of this great Loire terroir.

The nose captivates with its aromatic complexity: crisp white fruits, acacia blossom, ripe citrus and a light honeyed touch. On the palate, the balance is masterful, with a dense, precise texture carried by a vibrant acidity and a long, saline, energetic finish.

Partly aged in old oak barrels, this Montlouis combines restrained power and crystalline elegance, in the pure, taut style that has made La Taille aux Loups famous.

A great terroir Chenin, built for gastronomy, to be savoured today for its freshness or cellared for ten years as its depth and complexity continue to unfold.
