A gem from the South with genuine elegance, from Château Mourgues du Grès.
Fleur d'Églantine Rosé 2024, Château Mourgues du Grès
Created in the heart of Costières de Nîmes, Fleur d'Églantine is one of the emblematic rosés from Château Mourgues du Grès. The domaine, farmed organically, is built on soils of rolled pebbles and red clays swept by maritime influences. This natural freshness, carried by the nearby Mediterranean, brings balance and tension to the domaine's wines.
An assembly typical of the South, principally Grenache, completed according to the vintage with Syrah and Cinsault. The 2024 vintage stands out for its precision and aromatic brightness. The colour is pale and luminous. The nose reveals notes of fresh red fruits, white peach and citrus, lifted by a delicate floral touch evoking wild rose. On the palate, the attack is lively and clean, carried by fine energy. The wine remains well-balanced, digestible, with a fresh and slightly saline finish that extends the sense of purity.
Vinified at low temperature to preserve the fruit's freshness, Fleur d'Églantine Rosé 2024 embodies a direct and elegant style, far from heavy or jammy rosés. It distinguishes itself through finesse and its capacity to accompany the table.
Drink today for its vibrancy and bright fruit.
Food pairings: Mediterranean cuisine, grilled meats, summer salads, grilled fish, light Asian cooking. Serve at 8–10°C.
