The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie 2022 from Alex Moreau is a great white Burgundy that perfectly illustrates the nobility of Chardonnay on the slopes of the Côte de Beaune. From an ideally exposed clay and limestone terroir, this 1er Cru captivates with its aromatic purity and remarkable balance.
On the nose, it unfolds notes of white flowers, yellow stone fruits and fresh hazelnut, subtly underscored by precise barrel ageing. On the palate, the texture is ample, silky and mineral, with a long, saline finish that is the signature of the great terroirs of Chassagne.
A refined and vibrant Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru, reflecting the precise and elegant style of Alex Moreau, to be enjoyed from 2025 or cellared for more than ten years for an even more complex expression.
