A high hillside vineyard offering a noble expression of Chardonnay from Domaine Vincent Bouzereau.
The Corton Blanc Grand Cru 2023 Domaine Vincent Bouzereau is a great white Burgundy from the illustrious Corton hill, one of the rare white Grand Crus of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Vincent Bouzereau, recognised for the precision of its ageing and its respectful approach to terroir, presents here an exceptional cuvée from Chardonnay cultivated on soils rich in marl and limestone, producing powerful and deeply structured wines.
This 2023 vintage reveals a complex and refined nose, mingling white stone fruits, ripe citrus, flowers, heightened by notes of fresh butter, hazelnut and a subtle toasted note from perfectly integrated ageing. The palate is broad and dense, supported by a remarkable mineral framework and a tension that balances the natural richness of the cru. The finish, long and persistent, shows saline and lightly spiced nuances.
A great gastronomic wine, this Corton Blanc Grand Cru will pair beautifully with noble fish, shellfish, Bresse chicken in cream sauce or truffle dishes. It possesses excellent ageing potential, evolving over time towards more complex aromas of honey, dried fruits and forest floor.
