Great intensity of fruit, complex and with impressive length on the palate.
Meursault 2023 Fabien Coche

From a family domaine recognised for its precise and terroir-respecting approach, Fabien Coche continues the lineage of great Meursault craftsmen, with a contemporary vision centred on fruit purity and control of ageing. This Meursault 2023 reflects with accuracy the identity of the argilo-chalky soils of the Côte de Beaune, while preserving clear expression of the vintage.

The wine reveals an elegant and expressive nose, marked by aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, fresh citrus, accompanied by subtle notes of hazelnut, fresh butter, and white flowers. The ageing, perfectly integrated, brings a delicately toasted touch without masking the finesse of the terroir.

On the palate, the attack is ample and silky, supported by fine mineral tension that balances the natural richness of the appellation. The substance is precise, with a chalky texture and lovely energy. The finish, long and saline, underscores the refined character of this Meursault Village.

A white Burgundy at once accessible and well-structured, ideal with noble fish, shellfish, creamed poultry, or mature cheeses.

Ageing potential: 5 to 10 years, developing towards more complex notes of dried fruits and soft spices.
