Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champ 2023, Domaine Hubert Lamy: a crystalline and precise Chardonnay, blending ripe citrus, white flowers and mineral tension with Lamy's signature chiselled finesse.
Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champ 2023 Domaine Hubert Lamy
Le Concis du Champ is one of Chassagne's most singular terroirs, a lieu-dit whose calcareous and stony soils naturally bring tension, brightness and depth. With the 2023 vintage, Domaine Hubert Lamy crafts a wine of great precision, faithful to the quest for purity and energy that characterises the house.
The nose opens onto notes of ripe citrus, white peach, white flowers and wet stone. The palate displays remarkable balance: measured amplitude, straightforward minerality, saline energy that extends the wine to a long and chiselled finish. The Lamy signature expresses itself fully through careful parcellary vinification, meticulous ageing work, and a constant search for freshness despite the generous ripeness of the vintage.
This Chassagne-Montrachet 2023 is already very seductive, but it will gain complexity and nuance with 7 to 12 years in the cellar. It pairs ideally with noble fish, shellfish, creamed poultry or refined vegetable cuisine. A luminous wine, precise and deeply rooted in its terroir.
