A blend of several parcels on the east and south facing slopes of Beaune, this village Beaune reflects the precise and elegant touch of David Croix. The soils, combining brown limestone, fine clays and small gravel, provide ideal ground for a Pinot Noir that marries fruit, energy and finesse. Careful vineyard management, controlled yields and measured vinifications, with whole-bunch proportions adjusted by vintage, preserve the purity of the fruit and the natural tension of the terroir.
The 2023 vintage reveals a charming nose of red cherry, raspberry and crisp small berries, accompanied by floral notes and a light spicy accent. The palate stands out for its immediate freshness, fluidity and fine tannins that structure without harshness. A subtle mineral thread extends the finish, bringing precision and elegance.
