A blend of cognacs aged 55 years, from the Tesseron family cellars.
Cognac XO Perfection Lot 53 Tesseron is a prestigious cuvée drawn from the very old spirits reserves held by the Tesseron family in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente. Renowned for the richness of their heritage and their artisanal approach to ageing, Tesseron selects spirits of exceptional quality to compose cognacs of remarkable aromatic depth.
Lot 53 comes primarily from Grande Champagne, the premier cru of Cognac, a chalky terroir recognised for producing spirits of remarkable finesse and capable of ageing for many decades. These ancient spirits have matured patiently in oak casks within the family cellars, developing remarkable aromatic complexity while retaining a silky texture and perfect balance.
On the nose, Cognac XO Perfection Lot 53 reveals a rich and elegant bouquet blending preserved fruits, dried apricot and orange peel, accompanied by notes of honey, vanilla, cocoa and precious wood. The palate is broad, velvety and perfectly harmonious, carried by aromas of dried fruits, dark chocolate, sweet spices and blonde tobacco. The finish is long, refined and persistent, marked by fine depth and great elegance.
A cognac of great distinction, ideal for meditative tasting at the end of a meal, which will seduce lovers of old cognacs through its complexity and remarkable balance.
