Old vine Syrah from Domaine Alain Voge with dark fruit, pepper, violet and smoky notes. Powerful, tannic and built for cellaring.
Alain Voge was among the first to plant vines on the higher slopes of Cornas, around the chapel 'Saint-Pierre-aux-liens', convinced that these granite hillsides at 400 metres altitude would deliver the freshness and finesse needed for a great wine.
This is the domaine's oldest cuvée, created in the 1970s to showcase the family's mature vineyard. The vines lie at the heart of the appellation and represent the true signature of the domaine.
