A vibrant and charming Châteauneuf, blending fleshy red fruits and soft spices, with the signature freshness and elegance of Vieux Télégraphe.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape Télégramme 2023 Vieux Télégraphe
Télégramme is the most immediate and charming expression of Domaine Vieux Télégraphe, drawn primarily from young vines on the Plateau de La Crau. The 2023 vintage delivers a wine of great fruit purity, with a particularly harmonious style: the nose mingles fresh raspberry, ripe cherry and a whisper of soft spices, lifted by the floral notes typical of the sands and rolled stones of this emblematic terroir.
On the palate, the texture is supple and juicy, carried by a Grenache that is delicately sunny but never heavy. The balance between gourmandise and freshness is remarkable, with fine and perfectly silky tannins. The finish is clean and lifted, evoking garrigue and warm stone, echoing the domaine's signature.
A Châteauneuf-du-Pape suited to relatively early drinking, yet possessing good ageing potential of 6 to 8 years. Perfect with roasted poultry, herb-roasted lamb or perfumed Mediterranean cuisine.
