Black and red fruits, violet, spice and garrigue, a Gigondas of refined elegance from Domaine des Bosquets.
Gigondas Hauts-Lieux 2023 Domaine des Bosquets
With the Hauts-Lieux 2023 cuvée, Domaine des Bosquets offers a particularly accomplished parcel-by-parcel expression of the Gigondas appellation, highlighting the blending of different altitude terroirs from the domaine. Under the direction of Julien Bréchet, this cuvée embodies a precise and contemporary vision of the Southern Rhône, combining finesse, freshness and depth.
Principally from Grenache, completed by Syrah and Mourvèdre, this parcel selection reflects the diversity of soils (limestone, marl, sand) and exposures. The winemaking, minimalist in approach, and tailored ageing allow the identity of each lieu-dit to be preserved while building a harmonious whole.
The nose reveals beautiful aromatic complexity with notes of ripe black and red fruits, garrigue, pepper, with an elegant floral touch. On the palate, the wine seduces through its remarkable balance between power and freshness, fine and structuring tannins and silky texture. The whole is precise, dynamic, with a long and mineral finish.
A parcel-selected Gigondas of great precision, offering an elegant synthesis of the domaine's terroirs, to enjoy now after decanting or to keep for 10 to 15 years.
Food pairings: beef rib, herb-roasted lamb, Mediterranean cuisine, spiced dishes.
