A generous and expressive Syrah marked by crunchy dark berries, soft spices and a supple palate of immediate pleasure.
Syrah La Champine 2024 Domaine Gerin

La Champine 2024 offers an ideal introduction to the world of the Gerin family, a major reference in Côte-Rôtie. From selected parcels on granite and silty-sandy terroirs around Ampuis, this Syrah cuvée claims a resolutely generous and contemporary style, while preserving the tension and energy of the Northern Rhône Valley.

The 2024 vintage brings a pure and expressive aromatic palette: violet, fresh blackberry, crunchy raspberry, hint of liquorice and light smoke. On the palate, the texture is juicy, with very clean fruit, supple tannins and freshness that extends the finish. The precise ageing by the Gerin house preserves aromatic finesse without masking the character of the grape variety.

Accessible from today, this La Champine 2024 is best enjoyed at 14–16°C, though it can gain complexity over 3 to 5 years. Through its drinkability, aromatic definition and marked Northern Rhône identity, this is a perfect label for discovering the Gerin style at a fair price and with excellent potential.
