The growing season is off to a strong start, with flowering completing just before the rains arrived, and our allocations are keeping pace with some wonderful arrivals this week.
Two outstanding winemakers working in biodynamics take centre stage: Cyprien Arlaud on the Côte de Nuits, for the purity and transparency of his terroirs, and Patrick Baudoin on the hillsides of the Aubance and the Loire, a guardian of Chenin for nearly 25 years. On the spirits side, Maison Jacoulot is back in stock with their summer liqueurs and the rare Marc des Hospices de Beaune.
