A parcel cuvée that succeeds beautifully each year. This Pinot Noir from the foothill vineyard of La Digoine offers red berry freshness on release, yet rewards patient cellaring with deeper, complex aromas.
La Digoine is a wine from vines planted on the lower slope where the soil runs deeper. This lieu-dit "La Digoine" has been recognised for centuries for the quality of red wine produced there.
The 2023 La Digoine can be enjoyed very young, as it seduces immediately with its red berry aromas and flavours, its balance between roundness and structure, and its length on the palate.
Yet it will also reveal deeper, complex aromas worthy of a fine Burgundy if kept for 12 to 15 years, depending on the vintage and your cellar conditions.
