An exceptional single parcel, brilliantly showcased by Vincent.
The Meursault Narvaux 2023 Domaine Vincent Bouzereau is a white Burgundy wine from the Les Narvaux climat, situated high above the Premiers Crus, on stonier, more calcareous soils that lend the wine a more taut and mineral expression of Chardonnay. Domaine Vincent Bouzereau, true to its precise and balanced style, delivers here a Meursault of great finesse, where the freshness of the terroir takes precedence over richness.
The 2023 vintage opens with an elegant and luminous nose, marked by notes of lemon, green apple, white flowers, with a subtle touch of fresh hazelnut and wet stone. On the palate, the wine stands out for its fine tension, a straight and chiselled texture, far from the more opulent profiles of the appellation. Minerality dominates, supported by a vibrant freshness that carries the wine through to a long, saline and very pure finish.
This Meursault Narvaux will appeal to lovers of leaner, more vertical styles, ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, grilled fish or lighter dishes. It can be enjoyed now for its freshness, while also offering interesting ageing potential, evolving towards greater complexity and depth with a few years in the cellar.
