The Barolo Bussia 2020 from Giacomo Fenocchio is a masterful interpretation of Nebbiolo, where power and refinement unite in exemplary balance. From the celebrated Bussia cru in the heart of Monforte d'Alba, this wine reflects the depth of its terroir and the precision of a vigneron faithful to Piedmont's traditional methods.
The nose unfolds intense aromas of dark cherry, dried rose, leather and liquorice, enriched with notes of blonde tobacco and truffle. On the palate, the structure is ample and harmonious, supported by silky tannins and vibrant acidity that lend the wine a noble tension and remarkable persistence. The finish, long and elegant, lingers with mineral and balsamic nuances of great purity.
This Barolo will pair beautifully with risotto ai funghi porcini, braised meat, or noble game.
