The Côtes du Jura Tradition 2022 from Domaine Courbet is an emblematic expression of the Jura vineyard, made by this family domaine in Nevy-sur-Seille at the heart of the Seille valley. Faithful to the spirit of traditional Jura wines, the domaine preserves ancestral techniques while seeking precision, balance and terroir expression.
This Tradition cuvée is built on the classic pairing of Chardonnay and Savagnin. The Chardonnay is vinified with regular topping, bringing freshness and roundness, while a portion of Savagnin ages under veil, giving the wine its characteristic oxidative notes. This subtle equilibrium between tension and complexity makes the Tradition cuvée a natural entry point into Jura wines.
The nose opens on aromas of dried fruits, walnut, ripe apple and buttery notes, touched by spice. The palate is ample and structured, with good concentration, integrated freshness and a persistent finish marked by salinity and the typical nuances of Savagnin.
