An elegant and refined cuvée, this non-oxidative selection from Domaine Courbet develops superb fruit expression on the palate.
Côtes du Jura Chardonnay Les Isles 2022 Domaine Courbet

Based in the heart of the Jura, Domaine Courbet tends its vines with precision and respect for living soil, seeking to faithfully express the identity of the marl-limestone soils that shape its cuvées. The family favours measured fermentations and carefully chosen ageing to reveal the purity of the fruit and the singular character of Jura terroir.

The Les Isles 2022 cuvée comes from Chardonnay parcels planted on marl-rich soils, bringing tension and depth to the wine. Ageing in cask is handled with finesse, supporting the wine without obscuring its natural expression.

The colour is pale gold with luminous reflections. The nose reveals fine aromas of white fruits, ripe pear and crisp apple, accompanied by notes of white flowers, almond and a delicately buttered touch. On the palate, the attack is broad and precise, sustained by lovely freshness typical of the Jura. The balance between roundness and minerality creates a harmonious wine, its finish extending over slightly saline notes and elegantly oaked notes.

Serve around 11–12°C. It pairs beautifully with fish in sauce, creamed poultry, quenelles or aged Comté. Its potential for ageing 5 to 8 years allows it to gain in complexity and depth.
