A generous burst of dark fruits, touched with spice, from Via Caritatis.
Ventoux Vox Angelorum 2023 from Domaine Via Caritatis is an emblematic cuvée of this singular viticultural project born in the heart of Mont Ventoux, carried by a community of brothers who cultivate the vines with deep respect for nature, living systems, and the balance of the terroir. The vineyards are planted at altitude on clay-limestone and sandy soils, benefiting from the natural freshness of the Ventoux massif, a key element of the domaine's wine identity.
A blend led by Grenache and completed by Syrah, Vox Angelorum 2023 is vinified with precision to preserve fruit expression and aromatic purity. Extractions are measured, ageing controlled, in pursuit of elegance and drinkability rather than demonstration of power.
The wine opens with an expressive nose of fresh red fruits, cherry and raspberry, lifted by notes of garrigue, soft spices and a delicate floral touch. On the palate, the attack is supple and juicy, carried by bright fruit, fine tannins and a beautiful tension that brings balance and freshness. The whole is harmonious, digestible, with a clean finish and discreetly spiced notes.
A Ventoux of character and finesse, which perfectly illustrates the potential of the terroir when worked with rigour and humility. Drink it now for its bright fruit, or keep it for a few years. It will accompany grilled meats, Provençal cooking, light stewed dishes or characterful cheeses with ease.
