An independent Scottish family house, Wemyss Malts has specialised in blending single malts selected for their aromatic signature. Each cuvée bears an evocative name that reflects its sensory profile. The Hive showcases a generous, rounded and intensely fruited style, dominated by honeyed notes.
Crafted from a carefully chosen blend of malts, primarily sourced from Speyside, this whisky prioritises softness, indulgence and balance. Ageing in oak casks brings complexity and structure while preserving aromatic brilliance.
On the nose, it reveals aromas of honey, white flowers and ripe fruit, accompanied by notes of vanilla, light caramel and almond. The palate is supple and enveloping, marked by flavours of acacia honey, pear, peach and a touch of toffee. The whole is harmonious, with a silky texture and pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent and delicately spiced, prolonging the indulgent nuances.
