Wemyss Malts is an independent Scottish family house that has made its name blending single malts chosen for their aromatic personality. Each cuvée carries an evocative name that signals its sensory profile. Spice King embodies this philosophy perfectly, delivering an intense, spice-forward character.
Built from a thoughtful blend of malts, some aged in new oak or heavily toasted casks, Spice King is dynamic and structured, yet maintains real balance and clarity. The nose opens with warm cinnamon, clove, and black pepper, alongside vanilla, caramel, and orange peel. On the palate it is lively and expressive, with soft spice, honey, and ripe fruit, finishing with an elegant touch of oak. The texture is generous and energetic. The finish lingers, gently peppery, extending the spiced signature that defines this cuvée.
