A Chardonnay of white fruit and floral notes, elegant minerality. Fresh and harmonious. From Domaine Lécheneaut.
Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc 2023 — Domaine Lécheneaut
Born from the elevated slopes along the western edge of the Côte de Nuits, this Hautes Côtes de Nuits blanc perfectly reflects the freshness and luminosity of these high-altitude terroirs. Domaine Lécheneaut cultivates Chardonnay here with great precision, favouring calcareous-marly soils and careful viticulture that encourages tension, aromatic purity and finesse. Measured ageing on fine lees preserves the wine's natural energy.
The 2023 vintage reveals itself radiant and pure: a nose of white flower, crisp apple and crunchy pear, accompanied by a citrus note and a light chalky accent. On the palate, the attack is lively and lift, the substance fine but well-defined, and a clear minerality structures the finish. The whole is direct, fresh, delicate, with that airy signature characteristic of the finest whites from the Hautes Côtes.
A precise, vibrant and immediately approachable white, to be enjoyed now and gaining complexity over 3 to 5 years.
