Splendid depth of fruit, combining the power of terroir with the elegance of the vintage.
Rully Rouge Cuvée Marey 2024 Domaine de la Folie

At the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine de la Folie perpetuates an ancient family tradition in Rully, around its historic château. The vineyard, managed with exigence on soils that are predominantly clay-chalk, gives rise to precise, elegant wines faithful to the identity of each climat. Winemaking favours fine extraction and measured ageing to preserve the expression of Pinot Noir.

The Cuvée Marey 2024 pays tribute to the domaine's history and its former owning families. Drawn from carefully selected parcels, it expresses a more structured and profound profile of the appellation. The 2024 vintage, marked by slow and balanced ripening, offers an elegant wine, endowed with fine natural freshness.

Winemaking is conducted gently to preserve aromatic purity and delicate tannins. Ageing in barrel brings complexity and relief while respecting the brightness of the fruit.

On tasting, the nose reveals aromas of dark cherry, ripe raspberry and redcurrant, accompanied by slightly spiced notes and a discreet woody touch. The palate is harmonious, structured by fine silky tannins, supported by a fresh frame that extends the finish with elegance.

A Rully red of character and precision, ideal with roast poultry, rack of veal or braised dishes. Accessible now after aeration, it may evolve favourably over 6 to 10 years.
