Fresh and delicate, with notes of strawberry, flowers and citrus. An elegant garrigue rosé, a pleasure to drink.
Fleur d'Églantine Rosé 2025 – Château Mourgues du Grès
Made in the heart of Costières de Nîmes, Fleur d'Églantine is one of the emblematic rosés from Château Mourgues du Grès. The domaine, run organically, sits on rounded pebble and red clay soils swept by maritime influences. This natural freshness, carried from the nearby Mediterranean, brings balance and tension to the domaine's wines.
A typical southern blend, principally Grenache with Syrah and Cinsault added according to vintage, the 2025 stands out for its precision and aromatic brightness. The colour is pale and luminous. The nose offers notes of fresh red fruits, white peach and citrus, lifted by a delicate floral touch that evokes wild rose. On the palate, the attack is crisp and clean, driven by real energy. The wine remains balanced and digestible, with a fresh, lightly saline finish that extends the sense of purity.
Vinified at low temperature to preserve fruit freshness, Fleur d'Églantine Rosé 2025 embodies a direct and elegant style, far from heavy or jammy rosés. It stands out for its finesse and its ability to work at table.
Drink now for its vivacity and bright fruit.
Food pairing: Mediterranean cuisine, grilled meats, summer salads, grilled fish, light Asian cooking. Serve at 8–10°C.
