Marie Copinet's Champagne Tirage sous Liège "La Ruelle des Loups" is a 100% Meunier cuvée that reveals the singular character of this Champagne varietal.
Made using the rare ancestral method of cork closure, the wine benefits from natural, gentle micro-oxygenation during the prise de mousse, which deepens its aromatic complexity and refines its texture.
Its golden colour with copper glints is animated by a fine, persistent effervescence. The nose opens on ripe red fruit, mirabelle and dried fruit, lifted by delicate brioche notes and a light spiciness.
On the palate, the attack is ample and fleshy, with generous matter supported by lovely freshness and a long, harmonious finish.
A true expression of Meunier crafted with precision, this singular cuvée pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, characterful gastronomy, or aged cheeses such as mature Comté.
