The Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine 2023 from Héritiers du Comte Lafon expresses with elegance the richness of the Mâconnais terroir. Grown in biodynamic viticulture, this Burgundy Chardonnay seduces through its freshness, minerality and aromatic precision.
This white wine distinguishes itself with a floral and fruited nose, blending white flowers, pear, apple and delicate citrus. On the palate, the texture is supple, balanced by mineral tension and fine liveliness. The long, saline finish reveals a subtle buttery note that brings elegance and depth.
Situated in Milly-Lamartine, the historic heart of Burgundy's vineyard, the site benefits from an argilo-calcareous terroir worked with respect for the soils. Ageing in foudres and demi-muids allows the fruit to remain pure while adding complexity and balance.
Perfect now with shellfish, Dover sole, scallop carpaccio or creamed poultry, this wine can also age for several years to gain complexity and roundness.
