Pinot Noir Clos du Mormont 2023 Steve Bettschen is a confidential Swiss cuvée from the Coteaux de l'Orbe, crafted by Steve Bettschen, a vigneron recognised for his artisanal, demanding approach and profound respect for terroir. Settled on the Swiss Jurassien slopes, he creates wines of character, precise and sincere, where the expression of place takes precedence over unnecessary intervention.

The Clos du Mormont is an emblematic terroir, situated on calcareous and marly-calcareous soils rich in fossils, bringing freshness, finesse and natural tension to the Pinot Noir. This clos benefits from a strong identity and a microclimate conducive to balanced ripeness. The 2023 vintage offers a particularly pure expression of the variety, combining fruit brightness with structural precision.

Vinification is conducted with care, favouring gentle extractions and measured ageing to preserve aromatic delicacy and terroir clarity. The nose opens onto elegant aromas of cherry, raspberry and small red fruits, accompanied by floral notes and a subtle spicy touch.
