Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Red Cuvée Rosalie 2023 – Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer

The Cuvée Rosalie 2023 from Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer is a delicate and expressive Hautes-Côtes de Nuits red, crafted from Pinot Noir grown on the high-altitude slopes around Magny-lès-Villers, between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. On these cooler clay-limestone soils, the grape variety finds ideal conditions to develop aromatic finesse, freshness, and balance.

The Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer, committed to attentive and respectful viticulture of the terroir, prioritizes controlled yields and precise vineyard work to obtain perfectly ripe grapes. In the cellar, vinification is carried out gently to preserve the purity of the fruit and the natural delicacy of the Pinot Noir, followed by a measured aging that brings structure and complexity.

The 2023 vintage reveals a charming wine, with aromas of red cherryraspberry, and redcurrant, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is supple and gourmet, supported by fine tannins and a silky texture that make the wine particularly enjoyable from its youth.

The finish, fresh and elegant, extends the red fruit flavors with great finesse. An accessible and refined Pinot Noir, perfect to accompany roasted poultrywhite meatfine charcuterie, or bistro-style cuisine. To be enjoyed today for its vibrant fruit, while also capable of evolving harmoniously over several years.
