Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Vaucrains 2020 from Domaine Alain Michelot is a wine of character from one of the most renowned Premier Crus of the appellation, situated south of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
This powerful and structuring terroir gives birth to a profound Pinot Noir, built for the cellar, which Domaine Alain Michelot interprets with precision and elegance. The nose is intense and complex, marked by notes of ripe dark fruits, black cherry, blackberry and subtle spice and woody touches. The palate is full, structured and dense, carried by generous material, firm yet refined tannins and beautiful freshness that balances the whole.
The finish is long, persistent and racy, revealing all the depth of the Vaucrains climat. A great Burgundy wine for the table, ideal with roasted meats or sauced dishes, and endowed with excellent ageing potential.
