Fruity and floral, white fruits and citrus. A precise, digestible Mâcon from Chaland, fresh, balanced and very approachable.
Mâcon Les Tilles 2023 Domaine Jean-Marie Chaland
In the heart of the Mâconnais, Domaine Jean-Marie Chaland tends its parcels with precision on the clay and limestone soils typical of southern Burgundy. This geology, combined with a sunny climate tempered by continental influences, allows Chardonnay to express freshness, generosity and balance.
The cuvée Les Tilles 2023 perfectly reflects the domaine's style: careful vinification aimed at preserving fruit purity and the natural tension of the terroir. Ageing on fine lees adds depth and subtle complexity without weighing down the structure.
The robe is pale, brilliant gold. The nose opens with frank notes of fresh apple, pear and lemon, accompanied by delicate floral nuances and a light buttery touch. On the palate, the attack is lively and precise, supported by beautiful freshness. The texture is supple and balanced, with a clean finish and subtle salinity that extends the fruit expression.
Serve around 10–11°C. Ideal as an apéritif, it will also complement shellfish, grilled fish or light summer cuisine. Best enjoyed within 3 to 5 years to fully appreciate its aromatic brightness.
