Fruity and floral white from Domaine Jean-Marie Chaland, fresh and balanced, with white fruits and citrus.
Mâcon Les Tilles 2023 Domaine Jean-Marie Chaland
In the heart of the Mâconnais, Domaine Jean-Marie Chaland tends its parcels with precision on the argilo-calcareous soils typical of southern Burgundy. This geology, combined with a sunny climate tempered by continental influences, allows Chardonnay to express freshness, fruit-driven pleasure and balance.
The Les Tilles cuvée 2023 reflects the domaine's style perfectly, with careful vinification aimed at preserving the purity of the fruit and the natural tension of the terroir. Ageing on fine lees adds texture and subtle complexity without weighing down the structure.
The colour is pale golden and bright. The nose opens with fresh notes of apple, pear and lemon, accompanied by delicate floral nuances and a light buttery touch. On the palate, the attack is lively and precise, supported by lovely freshness. The texture is supple and balanced, with a clean finish and a slightly saline note that echoes the fruit.
Serve around 10–11°C. Ideal as an apéritif, it will also accompany shellfish, grilled fish or light summer cuisine. Drink within 3 to 5 years to enjoy its full aromatic brightness.
