Premier Cru from Pommard, Les Poutures consistently shows remarkable complexity and depth, here rendered with fresh precision by Domaine Lejeune.
Pommard 1er Cru Les Poutures 2023 Domaine Lejeune
The first vintage signed by Louis de Belleroche marks a genuine leap in precision at Domaine Lejeune, and this Pommard 1er Cru Les Poutures 2023 is among its finest expressions. On this climat with deeper soils that naturally produce ample, textured wines, the domaine's new style brings freshness, definition and a striking elegance.
The nose reveals a refined palette: dark cherry, ripe raspberry, dried rose petals and a fine touch of spice, with a discreet mineral dimension that deepens the whole. On the palate, the wine is fleshy yet perfectly controlled, with sculpted tannins and a vertical structure that balances the terroir's natural generosity. The 2023 vintage, luminous and harmonious, showcases fruit purity while delivering continuous freshness through to the finish, long and precise, almost vibrant.
A Premier Cru of considerable stature, contemporary in spirit, allying intensity with finesse. Already seductive in its brightness, it will gain considerable complexity after 7 to 12 years of cellaring.
