The first vintage under Louis de Belleroche marks a genuine step forward in precision at Domaine Lejeune, and this Pommard 1er Cru Les Poutures 2023 is among its finest expressions. On this climat with deeper soils that naturally produce ample, textured wines, the domaine's new direction brings freshness, definition and remarkable elegance.
The nose reveals a refined palette: dark cherry, ripe raspberry, dried rose petals and a fine touch of spice, with a discreet mineral dimension that deepens the whole. On the palate, the wine is fleshy yet perfectly controlled, with chiselled tannins and a vertical structure that balances the terroir's natural generosity. The 2023 vintage, luminous and harmonious, showcases the purity of the fruit while delivering a sense of freshness through to the finish, long, precise, almost vibrant.
