An Aligoté monopoly of exceptional character. Lively, citric and mineral with fine acidity and remarkable freshness. Pure, nervy and digestible.
Bourgogne Aligoté Monopole Clos La Folie 2024 Domaine de la Folie
In the heart of Rully, Domaine de la Folie cultivates a historic vineyard around its château, with constant attention paid to precision in vineyard work and the expression of the calcareous terroirs of the Côte Chalonnaise. Vinifications, measured and careful, aim to preserve the purity of fruit and the natural tension of Burgundian grape varieties.
Clos La Folie, a domaine monopoly, offers Aligoté a terroir of choice, composed of well-drained clay-limestone soils that favour freshness and minerality. The 2024 vintage, marked by progressive and balanced maturation, gives birth to a straight, luminous and particularly expressive wine.
Vinification is conducted with delicacy to preserve the varietal brilliance. Partial ageing in oak brings relief and complexity without masking the natural vivacity of the variety.
On the nose, fresh lemon, green apple and white flower aromas emerge, lifted by a subtle almond touch and chalky nuance. The palate is energetic and precise, supported by lively acidity and fine mineral tension. The finish, clean and saline, prolongs the impression of freshness.
A Bourgogne Aligoté of character, ideal as an aperitif, with oysters, shellfish, fish tartare or fresh cheese. Enjoy from today for its vivacity, with cellaring potential of 3 to 5 years.
