Description

Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Grands Liards 2023 – Domaine Rollin

The Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Grands Liards 2023 from Domaine Rollin is an elegant Pinot Noir from a terroir located in the south of the appellation, on well-draining clay-limestone soils that favor the expression of pure and delicate fruit. The family estate, based in Pernand-Vergelesses for several generations, cultivates its vines with great rigor, prioritizing controlled yields and precise vineyard work to preserve the natural balance of the grapes.

The vinification is carried out in a spirit that respects the fruit and the vintage, with gentle extractions and measured aging aimed at maintaining all the aromatic finesse of the grape variety. The 2023 vintage reveals a particularly charming wine, driven by aromas of fresh cherryraspberry, and small red berries, enhanced by subtle floral notes and a touch of fine spices.

On the palate, the attack is supple and gourmet, with fine and silky tannins structuring a delicate and balanced body. The finish, fresh and persistent, extends the red fruit notes in an accessible yet always precise style.

A refined and digestible Savigny-lès-Beaune, which will perfectly accompany roasted poultry, pork tenderloin, grilled white meats, or traditional Burgundian cuisine. It can be enjoyed in its youth for its vibrant fruit, but will also gain complexity after a few years of cellaring.
