Crafted at the heart of Burgundy by Gilles Joannet, this Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne IGP showcases traditional variety blackcurrant, recognised for its aromatic concentration and natural freshness. Berries are harvested at perfect ripeness then slowly macerated to extract the full intensity of the fruit, following demanding regional tradition.
The nose is powerful and expressive, dominated by aromas of fresh blackcurrant, buds and ripe dark fruits. On the palate, the attack is ample and generous, carried by a velvety texture and rich aromatic depth. The blackcurrant's natural freshness balances the sweetness and extends the finish with frank, persistent notes of pure fruit.
Essential for a traditional kir made with Burgundian Aligoté, it also elevates Crémant, Champagne or red fruit desserts. Served chilled, it can also be enjoyed as a digestif for lovers of intense fruity liqueurs.
