Made in the heart of Burgundy by the house of Gilles Joannet, this Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne IGP showcases traditional blackcurrant, prized for its aromatic concentration and natural freshness. The berries are harvested at full ripeness then subjected to slow maceration to extract all the intensity of the fruit, following a demanding regional craft.
The nose is powerful and expressive, dominated by fresh blackcurrant, buds and ripe dark fruit aromas. On the palate, the attack is full and generous, carried by velvety texture and great aromatic richness. The natural freshness of the blackcurrant balances the sweetness and extends the finish with frank, persistent notes of pure fruit.
Essential for a traditional kir with Burgundy Aligoté, it also enhances a Crémant, Champagne or red fruit dessert. Served chilled, it can also be enjoyed as a digestif for lovers of intense fruity liqueurs.
