A refined Blanc de Blancs from Domaine Didier Delagrange, graced with very fine bubbles and delicate character.
Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Domaine Didier Delagrange
Established in Volnay, Domaine Didier Delagrange tends its vines with precision and respect for Burgundian terroir. On the argilo-calcareous soils typical of the Côte de Beaune, the domaine favours careful vinifications and measured ageing, always seeking balance between fruit purity and elegance.
This Blanc de Blancs Crémant is made exclusively from Chardonnay, according to the traditional method with secondary fermentation in bottle and ageing on lees. This patient work confers bubble finesse and aromatic complexity.
The colour is pale gold, enlivened by fine and regular effervescence. The nose reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, fresh apple and citrus, complemented by brioche and lightly toasted notes from lees ageing. On the palate, the attack is bright and precise, carried by fine tension and a creamy texture. The finish is fresh, clean and elegantly citric.
Serve around 6–8°C. Ideal as an apéritif, it also accompanies shellfish, Burgundian gougères or delicate fish. Best enjoyed in its youth for freshness, with ageing potential of 2 to 4 years.
