A delightful natural sweet wine with notes of dried fruits and honey, from Domaine des Bernardins.
Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise 2024 from Domaine des Bernardins is produced at one of the historic and emblematic domaines of this appellation in the southern Rhône valley. The Castaud family continues here a craftsmanship passed down through generations, cultivating Muscat à Petits Grains on the clay-chalk and sandy slopes surrounding the village of Beaumes-de-Venise, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
The grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness to preserve all the aromatic richness of the variety. Fermentation is halted by fortification with alcohol, a traditional technique that retains the natural sugars of the grape while maintaining fine freshness.
The 2024 vintage reveals an intensely aromatic nose blending fresh apricot, white peach, Muscat grape and orange blossom, accompanied by delicate notes of honey and candied citrus. The palate is broad and indulgent, perfectly balanced by fine tension that brings freshness and lightness to the whole. The finish is long, perfumed and particularly elegant.
A luminous and expressive natural sweet wine, ideal at aperitif time, with foie gras, fruit desserts or simply as a moment of indulgence.
