In the foothills of Minervois, « Les Combettes » reveals the ambition of Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot: to express the nuances of sun-blessed terroir with the precision and delicacy inherited from their Burgundian roots. From parcels planted across a patchwork of limestone, pale clay, and light gravel, this wine offers a profoundly elegant expression of Mediterranean varieties, worked with rare rigour in the region.
The 2024 vintage shines with an ample and refined bouquet, blending blackberry, pomegranate, raspberry and a whisper of violet, underpinned by gentle garrigue. On the palate, the texture is silky yet structured, with good fruit density and a mineral backbone that brings freshness and length. The fineness of the tannins and clarity of the juice perfectly embody the domaine's haute couture style.
A profound yet airy red, harmonious and vibrant, that will express itself beautifully over its first 3 to 7 years.
