An elegant Brut with fine bubbles, blending citrus freshness, discreet brioche notes and a very long finish.
From the heart of Franciacorta in Lombardy, the Brut from Contadi Castaldi embodies a modern and precise vision of great Italian sparkling wines. Once connected to the Bellavista estate, Contadi Castaldi has established its own identity, prioritizing fruit purity, terroir clarity and a resolutely contemporary approach to the traditional method.

The vines flourish on moraine soils rich in minerals, inherited from ancient glaciations, bringing freshness and natural tension to the wines. The blend rests mainly on Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Noir and a touch of Pinot Blanc depending on the vintage. Fermentations are conducted with precision, followed by ageing on lees in bottle, which confers complexity and finesse to the effervescence.

The style of Franciacorta Brut Contadi Castaldi is clean, elegant and approachable, with a fine and regular bubble. The nose opens onto aromas of fresh apple, pear, citrus and white flowers, lifted by subtle brioche notes. On the palate, the attack is lively, driven by beautiful acidity, crunchy fruit and a dry, refreshing finish, perfectly balanced.

A Franciacorta ideal as an aperitif, but equally at home at table with seafood, fish carpaccio, antipasti or refined Italian cuisine. Best enjoyed now for its freshness and brilliance, with a potential for ageing of 2 to 4 years.
