A parcel of very high level, revealing the terroir of Marsannay with nobility.
Marsannay En Larrey 2022 from Domaine Henri Richard comes from a historic climat located on the commune of Marsannay-la-Côte, at the northern edge of the Côte de Nuits. This well-exposed terroir, composed of clay-limestone soils mixed with limestone scree, offers ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, allowing expression of a style that is both generous, structured and precise.

Domaine Henri Richard embodies a Burgundian family tradition attentive to terroir respect and sincere fruit expression. Work in the vineyard prioritises controlled yields and careful viticulture to obtain perfectly ripe grapes. In the cellar, vinifications remain classical and minimalist, with gentle extractions and oak ageing aimed at preserving the wine's natural balance and the aromatic purity of Pinot Noir.

The Marsannay En Larrey 2022 reveals on the nose expressive aromas of blackcherry, raspberry and redcurrant, accompanied by floral nuances and a light spicy touch. The palate is supple and elegant, driven by juicy fruit, fine tannins and lovely freshness that underlines the precision of the terroir. The finish, well-balanced and lingering, reveals an agreeable mineral dimension.

A charming and well-constructed Marsannay, which will pair perfectly with roasted meats, a farmhouse bird or a fine board of charcuterie. It can be enjoyed from today onwards for its bright fruit, but will also gain complexity after a few years of ageing.
