Savoury and spiced with a wild edge, Minervois as you might not expect it from Château d'Argens.
Minervois Chant de Lune 2022 Château d'Argens

In the heart of the Minervois appellation, Château d'Argens crafts wines deeply rooted in their terroir, where Mediterranean influences meet limestone hills. With Chant de Lune 2022, the domaine delivers an elegant and expressive cuvée, shaped by respectful vineyard work and a pursuit of balance between power and refinement.

Built on a blend of southern grape varieties, this Minervois red 2022 unveils a generous nose of ripe dark fruits, cherry, soft spices and garrigue, accompanied by subtle hints of cocoa and liquorice. The palate is ample and velvety, structured by silky tannins and lovely roundness, while maintaining a freshness that brings vibrancy and precision. The finish is long, warm and gently spiced.

This Château d'Argens Chant de Lune 2022 is a convivial and savoury wine, perfect with grilled meats, sauced dishes, Mediterranean cuisine or aged cheeses.

Accessible now for its fruit and suppleness, it will also develop nicely over a few years in the cellar to reveal greater complexity. A quintessential Minervois cuvée, marrying intensity, generosity and balance.
