A complex Pinot Noir from Domaine d'Ardhuy with dark berry aromas and fine spiced notes.
This Savigny Premier Cru comes from an argilo-calcareous terroir on the sunny slopes of Savigny-lès-Beaune.
The vines, around 50 years old, benefit from ideal exposure for optimal Pinot Noir ripening.
After careful vinification, the wine is aged in oak barrels, of which 15-20% are new wood.
Tasting reveals fine complexity, with dark berry aromas such as blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by spiced notes. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, with fine tannins and good concentration. The finish is long, fresh and lightly spiced.
