Great aromatic intensity supported by firm structure, a fine expression of Pommard.
Pommard Premier Cru Les Bertins 2022 Domaine Didier Delagrange
At the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Didier Delagrange works with precision several renowned climates of Pommard. The Premier Cru Les Bertins, situated on clay-limestone soils rich in marl, produces wines that are at once structured and elegant, where the natural power of the appellation is balanced by beautiful finesse of texture.
The 2022 vintage, marked by homogeneous maturity and natural concentration, allowed the creation of a dense yet perfectly controlled wine. Parcel-by-parcel vinification and ageing in oak, conducted with restraint, accompany the structure without dominating the expression of Pinot Noir.
The colour is sustained ruby with deep reflections. The nose reveals aromas of black cherry, blackberry and plum, enriched by notes of violet, fine spices and a subtly toasted touch. On the palate, the attack is ample and structured, supported by tight yet elegant tannins. The material is dense, balanced by a freshness that extends the finish with fruity and slightly mineral nuances.
Serve around 16°C after decanting in its youth. It will pair beautifully with beef fillet, roasted game or characterful poultry. Its ageing potential is significant, from 12 to 20 years, evolving towards more complex aromas of undergrowth and spice.
