A Pinot Noir Premier Cru from Domaine Besson. Generous and spiced, with red and dark fruit notes, solid structure and fine persistence.
Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 Domaine Besson

Located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Besson is committed to revealing with precision the terroirs of Givry, an appellation renowned for its Pinot Noirs that are both generous and structured. The climat Les Bois Gautiers, classified as Premier Cru, rests on clay-limestone soils that give the wine depth, balance and finesse.

This Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 opens with an appealing nose of black cherry, raspberry and blackberry, enriched with delicate notes of violet, sweet spices and a lightly integrated oak touch. The whole is expressive and harmonious, true to the typicity of Pinot Noir.

On the palate, the wine offers a supple and elegant texture, carried by crisp fruit and fine, silky tannins. The structure is balanced, with lovely freshness that energizes the whole and extends the tasting. The finish, persistent and subtly spiced, confirms the potential of this Premier Cru of Givry.
A Burgundy red that is both approachable and precise, ideal with white meats, roasted poultry, lightly sauced dishes or aged cheeses.

Ageing potential: 5 to 8 years, evolving towards more complex notes of undergrowth and spices.
