A generous Premier Cru Pinot Noir with dark red fruit, spice and solid structure, finishing with fine persistence.
Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 Domaine Besson

Domaine Besson, rooted in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, is dedicated to revealing with precision the terroirs of Givry, an appellation renowned for Pinot Noirs that are both generous and structured. The climat Les Bois Gautiers, classified as Premier Cru, sits on clay-limestone soils that give the wine depth, balance and finesse.

This Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 opens with an attractive nose of black cherry, raspberry and blackberry, enriched by delicate notes of violet, soft spices and subtle, well-integrated oak. The whole is expressive and harmonious, true to the typicity of Pinot Noir.

On the palate, the wine offers a supple and elegant texture, driven by crisp fruit and fine, silky tannins. The structure is well-balanced, with lovely freshness that animates the whole and extends the experience. The finish, persistent and subtly spiced, confirms the potential of this Premier Cru from Givry.
A burgundy red that is both accessible and precise, ideal with white meats, roasted poultry, light sauced dishes or mature cheeses.

Ageing potential: 5 to 8 years, with evolution towards more complex notes of undergrowth and spice.
