A Premier Cru Pinot Noir, generous and spiced, with red and dark fruit, solid structure and fine persistence.
Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 Domaine Besson

Based in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Besson works to reveal with precision the terroirs of Givry, an appellation known for Pinot Noirs that are at once appealing and structured. The Premier Cru climat Les Bois Gautiers sits on clay-limestone soils that give the wine depth, balance and finesse.

This Givry 1er Cru Les Bois Gautiers 2023 opens with an attractive nose of black cherry, raspberry and blackberry, enriched by delicate notes of violet, sweet spice and well-integrated oak. The whole is expressive and harmonious, true to Pinot Noir's character.

On the palate, the wine offers a supple, elegant texture, driven by crunchy fruit and fine, silky tannins. The structure is balanced, with good freshness that enlivens the whole and extends the finish. The finish is persistent and subtly spiced, confirming the potential of this Givry Premier Cru.
A Burgundy red that is both approachable and precise, ideal with white meats, roasted poultry, light sauced dishes or aged cheese.

Ageing potential: 5 to 8 years, with evolution towards more complex notes of undergrowth and spice.
