The 2024 vintage of Savoie Mondeuse Marie-Clothilde from Adrien Berlioz perfectly embodies the elegance and vitality of this great Savoyard grape variety. Cultivated on the slopes of Chignin, this cuvée expresses all the aromatic finesse and mineral depth of a terroir worked with respect and precision.
The nose seduces with aromas of dark fruits, blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, mingled with floral notes of peony and violet, typical of Mondeuse. On the palate, the texture is fluid, taut, supported by a fine spicy framework and tannins of great delicacy. The finish, fresh and persistent, evokes wet stone and fine pepper.
Aged with care and vinified naturally, Marie-Clothilde 2024 reveals a perfect balance between intensity and elegance. This is a refined Mondeuse, straight and expressive, which illustrates the expertise of Adrien Berlioz, one of the most inspired winemakers of Savoie.
