The Côtes du Jura Trousseau Cuvée Violette 2023 from Domaine Courbet is an elegant and luminous expression of Trousseau, the signature grape of the Jura vineyard. Produced by this family domaine based in Nevy-sur-Seille, the cuvée reflects the winemaker's precise work and commitment to honest wines that speak clearly of their terroir and variety.
Grown on the marl and gravel soils of the Jura, the Trousseau is vinified with care to preserve the grape's natural aromatic finesse and freshness. The Violette cuvée emphasises fruit expression through gentle extraction and measured ageing, allowing Trousseau to reveal all its delicacy.
The nose is expressive and charming, marked by snappy red fruit aromas, sour cherry, raspberry and violet, touched by light spice. The palate is supple and juicy, built on fine tannins and fresh acidity, with a gently peppery finish.
