White flowers, fresh citrus and subtle minerality. A precise, vibrant Chardonnay from the heights of the Côte de Beaune, signed by Domaine Rollin.
The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc 2024 from Domaine Rollin comes from parcels on the heights of the Côte de Beaune, where altitude brings freshness and balance to the grapes. The family-run Domaine Rollin, based in Pernand-Vergelesses, cultivates its vineyards with precision and respect for terroir, seeking to express the purity and natural energy of Chardonnay at its best.
The clay-limestone soils and cooler climate of the Hautes-Côtes favour slow ripening that preserves tension and aromatic brightness in the fruit. Vinification is conducted with care, followed by measured ageing that adds character without masking fruit expression.
The 2024 vintage reveals a luminous wine marked by white flower aromas, fresh apple and citrus, accompanied by subtle notes of white-fleshed fruits and a touch of minerality. On the palate, the wine shows a straight, precise character, driven by beautiful freshness and a supple texture that brings amplitude without losing vibrancy.
The finish is clean and saline, extending sensations of freshness and fruit. An accessible, beautifully balanced Burgundian Chardonnay, ideal as an aperitif, with grilled fish, shellfish, creamed poultry or goat cheese. It can be enjoyed young for its brightness, while developing harmoniously over a few years.
