Intravaganza, an emblematic and resolutely unconventional whisky, embodies the entire philosophy of Michel Couvreur, an art of ageing taken to its peak in service of a Scottish malt sublimated in Burgundy. Born from a rigorous selection of distillates and aged for many years in Oloroso Sherry casks, this whisky distinguishes itself through its complexity, depth and style intensely marked by noble wood.

The nose is of great richness, mingling aromas of dried fruit, nuts, dates and figs, accompanied by notes of leather, blond tobacco and soft spices. Upon aeration, more indulgent nuances emerge, cacao, coffee and preserved fruits, typical of great oxidative ageings. The palate is ample, structured and powerful, with dense, enveloping substance. Flavours of prune, dark chocolate, liquorice and precious wood appear, sustained by lovely freshness that balances the whole. The finish is long and persistent, marked by spiced and lightly roasted notes.
