Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d'Or 2023 Domaine Vincent Bouzereau is a great white Burgundy from one of the most esteemed Premiers Crus of Meursault, situated on soils rich in calcareous marl that give the wine power and depth. Domaine Vincent Bouzereau, recognised for its precise and elegant style, works its parcels with care to reveal the full richness of this emblematic Burgundy Chardonnay terroir.
The 2023 vintage offers a generous and complex nose, marked by notes of ripe fruits, pear, peach, accompanied by nuances of white flowers, fresh butter and hazelnut, with a fine toasted note. On the palate, the wine is broad and structured, with beautiful enveloping substance, supported by a mineral tension that brings balance and precision. The finish is long, persistent, with an elegant saline framework typical of the climat.
This Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d'Or is a gastronomic wine, ideal with sauced fish, shellfish, creamed poultry or mushroom-based dishes. It has a fine ageing potential, evolving towards more complex notes of honey, dried fruits and forest floor with time.
