Situated on the heights above Nuits, the "Clos de Magny" belongs to the finest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation. Its soils blend bright limestone, fine marl and broken stone, offering Pinot Noir an ideal setting to develop depth and energy. Domaine Lécheneaut tends the vineyard with precision, in a parcel-focused approach aimed at preserving fruit purity and the identity of place.
The 2023 vintage stands out for its luminous and refined expression: a nose of fresh cherry, raspberry and violet, lifted by a hint of soft spice. On the palate, the substance is supple yet structured, carried by fine tannins and mineral tension that stretches the wine and brings it verticality. The whole is harmonious, elegant, with a style at once charming and perfectly defined.
